This is shaping up to be a busy weekend in Eastern Iowa, with three garden walks scheduled in the Cedar Rapids-Iowa City Corridor.
Proceeds from the pond society’s tour will benefit Honor Flights, which take our veterans for a one-day trip to see war monuments in Washington, D.C., as well as the Kirkwood Community College scholarship fund.
I’ve been on past pond tours and even if you have no space or desire to build a pond of your own, it’s a great way to see gorgeous gardens and relax with the backdrop of tranquil waters.
