CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Hundreds of runners and walkers made their way through New Bohemia and across the Bridge of Lions to Czech Village to raise money for public art during The Crunch Berry Run.

The color run, on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, was an untimed 5K route, with participants of all ages encouraged to go at their own pace, as they were covered in environmentally-friendly colored powder along the way.

Entertainment included the Iowa Fun Drummin’ group jamming on world percussion instruments as runners passed near A Street SW, along the Cedar River.

The Crunch Berry Run is a fundraiser for Murals & More.

All proceeds support public art in Cedar Rapids.
