Iowans have been able to enjoy pleasant weather, even as the calendar turned to November, but one sure signal of the approaching winter is the end of Daylight Saving Time.

Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022. Be sure to “fall back” and set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed on Saturday, Nov. 5.

The switch to Standard Time happens annually on the first Sunday in November.

We “lose” one hour of daylight, but “gain” an hour of sleep that weekend.

The switch back to Daylight Saving Time happens at 2 a.m., the second Sunday in March.
