It might not feel like spring, but you’ll want to “spring ahead” with your clocks this weekend, as we switch to Daylight Saving Time.

The switch happens at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015, the earliest date on the calendar that it can occur, as it begins every year on the second Sunday of March.

This upcoming week should make the timing feel appropriate, as temperatures in Iowa are forecast to be near 60 degrees; a welcome relief from this long winter.

So, remember to set your clocks forward by one hour before going to bed this Saturday night. The switch back to Standard Time happens the first Sunday in November.
