According to new Gallup well-being rankings, doctors in the United States lead all major occupational groups in overall well being, followed by school teachers and business owners. Transportation workers have the lowest well-being scores, behind manufacturing and production workers.

When it comes to produce consumption, nurses set the standard, with nearly 65 percent eating five or more servings of fruits and vegetables at least four days each week.

Those in the manufacturing and production professions are the least likely to report produce consumption, perhaps reflecting that there are more challenging dietary choices when laboring in those fields, according to Gallup.
