Our friends at EcoFest note that the Earth Day celebration is coming up this month, on Saturday, April 20, 2013, in and around the NewBo City Market, 1100 Third St. SE.
Prairiewoods’ Emy Sautter said a few spots remain for ecologically minded organizations, businesses or artists interested in being vendors at the festival.

“Good Green Fun” is Eastern Iowa’s premier Earth Day celebration. The family-friendly festival includes interactive art and educational activities, eco-product and eco-practice demonstrations, entertainment and fun ways to learn to reduce and reuse personal and household items. This event helps us connect our personal choices to community and planetary sustainability.
