With snowfall twice this week, Iowa already appears to be in the throes of winter.

That march will continue this weekend as Daylight Saving Time ends and we “lose” an hour of daylight, while “gaining” an hour of sleep.

Remember to “fall back” and set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed on Saturday, Nov. 2.

The switch to Standard Time happens at 2 a.m. on Nov. 3, the first Sunday in November.

We return to Daylight Saving Time at 2 a.m., the second Sunday in March.
