Less than a week after the last outdoor farmers market ended, winter markets get underway in Iowa.

Hiawatha’s outdoor market typically goes to the last Sunday in October, which fell in 2025 on Oct. 26.

Already this weekend, indoor markets will begin in places including Dubuque, Iowa City and West Branch.

Winter markets offer cold-weather crops such as squash, as well as wine, honey, meats, baked goods, jams and hand-crafted gifts, perfect for the holidays.

Additionally, online markets in Grinnell and Iowa City offer products from local farmers year-round. Find information on both online and indoor markets, below.
