An interesting twist in what can be a challenge to get kids to eat their veggies: the Blue Zones Project in Cedar Rapids, which promotes healthy living, is teaming up with Theatre Cedar Rapids and other organizations for cooking classes for children.

Actors and actresses from Shrek the Musical will be on hand to talk about all things fairy tale while kids in the class learn about healthy eating.

Purpose Week:

Blue Zones Project is hosting Purpose Week – offering 6 Purpose Workshops, all FREE and open to the public to attend, during the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of December.

A Purpose Workshop is a 2-hour event in which a facilitator guides you through various fun and interactive activities to begin the journey to finding your individual purpose.

Keep in mind that there are three primary ways of uncovering your gifts:

Your gifts are reflected in what you do best.

Your gifts show up in how you like to serve.

Your gifts are being used when you lose yourself in a task.

Start on the path to finding your purpose in life, visit the link to RSVP to a Purpose Week workshop!
