With more than 220 vendors, the Downtown Farmers Market in Cedar Rapids is one of the largest markets in Iowa.  The season kicks off Saturday, June 1, 2013, with markets following on June 15 and every first and third Saturday of the month, through Sept. 21.

The first Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers’ Market is Saturday, June 1 from 7:30 a.m. to noon. The market will be held in our traditional venue of Third and Fourth Avenues, from Second to Fifth Streets SE and Greene Square Park.

Our first Day Sponsor of the season is the City of Cedar Rapids. City officials and staff will celebrate Resident Appreciation Day  with kids activities, prizes, free water and more in Greene Square Park.

Rain or shine, people are invited to shop from more than 220 Iowa vendors, offering fresh produce, a variety of homemade and specialty goods, meat and dairy products, along with unique artisan gifts and decor.
