Spoiler alert, in case you missed last week’s episodes of American Idol.
Our two 16-year-old girls with Iowa connections have moved on to the group rounds of the competition. Both Maddie Walker, of Ankeny, and Gabby Zonneveld of Minnesota, whose father, Dick Zonneveld is a graduate of Cedar Rapids Washington High School, were shown successfully navigating the early days of Hollywood Week.
No sign of Aaron Bissell, a Washington High School senior, but our hope is that he advanced, too. See Aaron’s audition here.
Gabby Z, as she introduced herself on the show, was the subject of a nail-biting cliffhanger, as shown, below. Hopefully, we’ll see more of all three talented young adults this week.
