With a name like “Prince Farming,” expect seed corn caps, twangin’ music, rides on tractors that most farmers no longer use and images of row upon row of corn when Iowan Chris Soules begins his turn as “The Bachelor.”

Season 19 of the “reality” dating show begins Monday, Jan. 5 on ABC. If you haven’t already caught the previews, the prediction of corn o’plenty looks to be on-target, as seenĀ  in this corny “Prince Farming” video, which doesn’t do much for fairy tales, or rhyme: Bachelor video

Chris Soules looks to be a decent guy, but there are plenty more bachelor farmers hailing from his home of Arlington, Iowa, a town of just over 400 people located about 60 miles north of Cedar Rapids in Fayette County.
