CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Sunny skies and mild temperatures welcomed the inaugural Freedom FEASTival in downtown Cedar Rapids.

Customers queued up at a dozen food trucks that lined the perimeter of Greene Square during the free event, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2024.

Music by Junk Funk and other performers entertained the crowds.

Freedom FEASTival serves as a fundraiser for the annual Freedom Festival, held this year from June 14 through July 4.
