Remember to set your clocks back this weekend.(photo/Cindy Hadish)

So much politics this close to Tuesday’s elections and Daylight Saving Time is no different.

On whichever side you stand, it happens again this weekend, when Daylight Saving Time ends. Some refer to it as “Daylight Savings Time,” but that’s another story.

The switch to Standard Time happens at 2 a.m. every year on the first Sunday in November.

We “gain” an hour of sleep overnight into Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, but we “lose” an hour of daylight.

Be sure to “fall back” and set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed Saturday night.

Switch back to Daylight Saving Time at 2 a.m., the second Sunday in March.
