DECORAH – Gardeners attending the Seed Savers Exchange annual conference and camp-out will benefit from the generosity of a past member.

Mary Ann Fox, a longtime Seed Savers member from Shelbyville, Indiana, died in February at age 71, leaving behind her seed collection of more than 200 bean varieties.

Two truckloads of the seeds arrived at Seed Savers’ Heritage Farm near Decorah, in time for the annual conference and camp-out taking place Friday, July 19, 2013, through Sunday, July 21.

Members of Seed Savers and others attending the event will be able to carry on Mary Ann’s legacy, as the seeds will be given to them for free.

Seed Savers Collection Technician, Aaron Burmeister, writes more about this incredible donation, Find details about the annual event.
