The 2020 Winter Gardening Fair, hosted by the Linn County ISU Extension Master Gardeners, is transplanting this year to a new location.

Long held at the Kirkwood Community College campus in Cedar Rapids, this year’s event will be 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, at the Kirkwood Regional Center, 1770 Boyson Road, Hiawatha.

Participants register for five classes for the $49 tuition, which also includes a baked potato buffet lunch. Student registration is $25.

Sessions include garden tool maintenance, critter control, environmental gardening tips, new perennials for 2020, growing miniature hostas, seed starting and many others, with a total of more than 70 session choices.
