CEDAR RAPIDS – The landscape at Noelridge Park constantly evolves, giving park-goers something new to see, no matter how often they go.

At this time of year, the fall flowers are at their height of beauty, and if that wasn’t reason enough to stop by the park – at Council Street and Collins Road NE – the Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation Department adds another.

The department is offering free demonstrations on taking plant cuttings at Noelridge ParkĀ  on Sept. 18, Sept. 25 and Oct. 2, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Greenhouse staff will instruct students on the proper way to take cuttings. Students are asked to meet the staff at the Noelridge garden entrance and to bring clippers and a bucket.
