Scary, I know.

Some people or entities are a bit confused by the time change, which happens next weekend, not in October, as it did several years ago.

Standard Time begins the first Sunday in November.

Set your clocks back (fall back) one hour the night of Nov. 2, 2013. That gives you an extra hour to sleep on Sunday, Nov. 3, or time for a bit more yardwork during the day.

You’ll have to wait another five months for the switch back to Daylight Saving Time – or “savings” as most of us say –  which begins at 2 a.m., the second Sunday of March.
