Winter farmers markets continue to hold their own in Iowa.

The outdoor market season generally ends by the last of October, but by November, the indoor markets already kick in.

One change last season moved the long-standing Dubuque Winter Market to a new location. In February, that market opened in its new site in the Roshek Building in Dubuque, where it will continue this season.

Vendors at the indoor markets offer eggs, jam, root crops, breads, pastries, wine, honey, mushrooms, meat and more, along with handcrafted gifts, great for the holiday season.

Following is a list of indoor farmers markets in Eastern Iowa. Follow the Homegrown Market List for updates throughout the season and leave a message, below, if you know of other winter markets.
