CEDAR RAPIDS – One event that’s bound to put you in the holiday spirit will be held at a new site this year.
Nature’s Noel, the annual fundraiser for the Indian Creek Nature Center, will take place Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at the newly opened Nature Center at 5300 Otis Rd. SE.
The event, featuring sales of fresh greenery, handcrafted gifts, homemade food and more, will be 9 a.m. to noon, but it’s best to go early, as a line usually forms before doors open and popular items go fast.
Here is more from the Nature Center: Come inside for beautiful holiday crafts and stock up on delicious homemade food items including breads, jellies, candies and more. Take the hassle out of holiday entertaining by stocking your freezer with oven-ready hors d’oeuvres, cookie dough and soups. Local vendors fill the Nature Center with gorgeous gifts, too! Find gently used holiday decor in Noel’s Attic. Live music and carolers ensure you’ll be in the holiday spirit.
Nature’s Noel is presented by the Nature Center Guild and staff. All proceeds benefit educational programs and land conservation and restoration at Indian Creek Nature Center.
