UPDATE: Registration is now open for the Winter Gardening Fair. Sign in here to register online.
(Dec. 16, 2015) One big change is in store for the 2016 Winter Gardening Fair in Cedar Rapids.
The venue will move to Coe College, after many years at Kirkwood Community College.
A variety of factors influenced the decision, including the need for a larger room to hold the audience for a single keynote speaker.
The keynotes have been divided into different sessions in recent years at Kirkwood.
Overall, it looks to be another great day, with choices of more than 70 topics at the event, on Saturday, March 5, 2016.
Registration begins on Jan. 4, and in the meantime, the Linn County Master Gardeners, who host the event, are offering gift certificates that a special gardener on your list can use once registration begins. (Not that I’m hinting, of course.)
